Each of these promotions costs 1 promotion point. Level 3 promotions are unlocked if the player received his third promotion in that specific match, and level 5 promotions are unlocked if the player received his fifth promotion. If a certain support power has multiple levels, higher levels require lower levels to be unlocked first, and when they are, they replace the lower level variant.
Dr. Thrax improves upon GLA’s toxin research and not only does he give out toxin-based weapons to his units by default, but also gives them to units that other GLA cells do not, and improves their power further with his signature Anthrax Gamma upgrade. His main weakness is the absence of all stealth capabilities, save for Jarmen Kell.
Rodall “Demo” Juhziz’ favourite aspect about the GLA arsenal is demolition. He can strap demo charges to virtually any unit he owns, and improve the explosive charges in existing suicide units. However, in such an aggressive army design, he dropped all toxin-based weapons and all stealth capabilities save for Jarmen Kell.
