Description: Clearly the alien technology is hidden in a crashed airplane. Holy fuck, is that Vlad?!? We’ve arrived onto the future!
About this episode: Yeah, this was probably the worst episode I ever created. I’m not going to lie, I think it’s horrible. It was rushed, I started losing direction and interest, and frankly, I just wanted a break. Ultimately, that break turned into one longer than I expected, as I entered the real world as an adult and joined the military some months later. But yeah, this, this episode was not one of my better ones. According to some old comments at CNCNZ, they seemed to like it, but there was a lack of the usual enthusiasm that would follow episodes in the past, and I fully understood why.
At this point, I was just out of ideas. I mean, I threw VLAD in there for some silly fun, but that (and Einstein) had nothing whatsoever to do with Tiberian Sun or Firestorm. A few years later, when I would return to the series, it really picked up quite a bit, but at the time, I just wanted to move on to Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge. I had been wanting to do RA2 and YR for the longest time, and in some ways, I’m glad that it took me so long to get back to them, because it really allowed me to give them the attention (and camera quality) they deserved.
