10 Years of Red Alert 3

On 28 October 2008, North Americans witnessed the release of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 on the PC. It was probably the most heavily advertised C&C title, which had a lot of attention for its star-filled cast, and the fact that it was the first Red Alert game since 2001’s Yuri’s Revenge. It was also arguably the most polarizing title in the series, as heated debates on its tone still go on to this day and the shift to node-based resources has left some fans cold, but it is still played online both competitively and in the co-op campaign mode. Definitely the most dynamic of the C&C titles, there is never a dull moment with all the unique unit designs and their abilities.

GameReplays.org held anniversary tournaments in Red Alert 3 these past three weekends, and today’s final round went on for so long that the grand finals will be played next Saturday, so keep an eye out for that!
