C&C Legos: Season 4 – Episode 7

Back to Episode Index

Description: Only the greatest movie ever to not be made. What made Yuri want to attack Hollywood, anyway? Where’s the logistics in that? He’s just popping up in the strangest places.

About this episode: This is, without question, my favorite episode of the entire C&C Legos series. I wanted to make this episode since probably the first season of C&C Legos. I figured I was bound to get to it eventually, but holy crap, I just could not wait. I’m actually kind of surprised I waited until the 7th episode of this season to make it. It took a lot of patience.

Every time I played the game, I never used Flint Westwood. Both Arnie and Stallion were able to kill infantry in one shot, so I just felt like Flint Westwood was pretty useless. All in all, he killed what, one person? Good for him. And don’t get me started on the rest of the units. I’m pretty sure that for that mission, the only reason people build other units is to protect their base that they don’t even need. Rambo and the Terminator could take on the entire map, without hesitation, and yet that’s the time when the game designers decided to bring out the Battle Fortress. I don’t remember using it for anything other than just protecting the base until I was able to deploy a grand cannon. I should have just let them destroy my base while I used the kickass duo for everything else.

Anyway, back to the details about the episode… for Arnie’s voice, I could have used his in-game voice, but I chose a different approach. I found a game that was released after Terminator 3 came out, and the game did poorly (so poorly, I forget the name of it. It was probably Terminator 3). Anyway, in the game, there was a whole bunch of clean, clear voice clips recorded by different characters, which didn’t even make it into the final cut of the game. However, the voice clips recorded by Arnold Schwarzenegger sounded amazing, so I opted to use those instead. I think I made the right choice.
