Description: Kane is back?!? But how? When? Where?
About this episode: Considering this was the third season, I remember trying to continue making the series that everyone seemed to like, while at the same time trying to come up with themes or situations that were unique, so the episodes didn’t grow stale. Ultimately, I wound up just loosely imitating the first mission of the GDI campaign of Tiberian Sun, as it seemed the most logical route to take. And boy, did I have fun with it.
This was the second time I was able to use my hand in one of the clips, and I was actually looking forward to bringing blue Tiberium to the series. Ultimately, I didn’t use the blue Tiberium for much (there’s only so many ways you can joke about an explosive), but it was something different nonetheless. It was also fun to bring McNeil around, because it was a character that could remain somewhat consistent and notable, instead of just having a table covered in random characters who could die at any moment. McNeil had to live, and it helped me build a storyline, at least later in the season.
